Dental AR recovery

Dental accounts receivable recovery

Aging insurance claims are revenue your practice already earned. We audit your accounts receivable, contact payers directly, and collect what is still owed.

What's included

Full AR audit

A claim-by-claim review of aging insurance receivables to find what is collectible and what needs to be cleared.

Direct payer follow-up

We contact payers on outstanding claims to learn exactly what is holding each one up.

Credit balance audits

Credit balances reviewed for accuracy and for refunds owed under your state's rules, including unclaimed property requirements.

CPR tracking

Net collection rate, percentage over 90 days, and receivable days tracked month to month, so progress stays visible.

How it works

Step 1

AR review

We pull your aging report and identify the claims with the most recoverable value.

Step 2

Payer follow-up

We work each claim with the payer, correcting and resubmitting where needed.

Step 3

Clean ledger

Collected claims are posted, uncollectible ones are resolved, and your CPR numbers show the change.

How often to audit credit balances

Monica recommends a credit balance audit one to two times per year, depending on your office's volume.

Credit balances are not just an accounting detail. Every state has its own patient refund and unclaimed property rules, so a regular audit protects the practice as well as its patients.

My outstanding claims are now consistently under 45 days, and many are paid in under 30. That used to feel like a pipe dream.

Common questions

Can we start with an AR cleanup only?

Yes. You can begin with an AR audit and recovery project, then decide whether ongoing billing support makes sense.

What is a healthy net collection rate?

Monica's goal for practices is a net collection rate of at least 95 percent. Your own month-to-month trend matters most. Check your CPR.

How do we get a quote?

Every practice is different, so pricing depends on the services you choose and the size of your practice. Schedule a consultation and you will get a clear quote for your practice.
